Executive Director, IFL
Rosa Apodaca currently serves as the executive director of the Institute for Learning (IFL) at the University of Pittsburgh. She served as a senior fellow at the IFL since 2002. She was selected by the IFL's leadership because of her commitment to inclusivity and diversity and ability to lead a complex, mission-driven organization to create impact and make a difference in the way we educate every student. Award has received press coverage in multiple news outlets, including Education Week (IFL mentioned bullet point 7), and the Dallas News (IFL mentioned paragraph 6).

Kudos to Rosita Apodaca who has been appointed the new Executive Director (interim) of the Institute for Learning (IFL). Apodaca is a nationally recognized leader in education and author with expertise in improving instructional systems focused on equitable outcomes for under-served students. She served as a senior fellow and director of outreach and development at the IFL, before becoming Executive Director.
