Literacy Coaching

In Literacy Coaching, researchers examine literacy instruction and learning in formal and informal settings, both in schools and at home. Specific areas of research include identifying familial practices that support early language development (see Leyva) and the use of the automated writing evaluation system eRevise to support natural language processing (see Matsumura), see also Culturally Responsive Family Intervention Improves Latino Kindergarteners' Vocabulary and Approaches to Learning (see Leyva).
