Research/Practice Partnerships

Through Research/Practice Partnerships, researchers employ collaborative, long-term partnerships with practitioners to improve problems in education. Specific areas in which researchers pursue these partnerships include expanding college access and success (see Iriti), using mindfulness to improve academic achievement (see Galla), and teacher learning in Online Content-Focused Coaching (see Matsumura). Additional areas include improvement science for education reform (see Schunn), assessing teachers as learners (see Stein and Anthony), long-term language learning (see Fraundorf), and how policy and educational reform initiatives can improve student learning (see Correnti).
