PSY 1010: The Science of Learning: Brain, Classroom and Society

This capstone course offers a comprehensive overview of cutting-edge theories and practices, providing you with a rich overview of the learning sciences. Through a variety of engaging lectures and interactive sessions led by senior faculty and researchers from across the university, you will explore a range of disciplines that contribute to the learning sciences, including cognitive science, cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology, education, organizational theory, and computer science. You will learn how each discipline contributes to our understanding of learning processes and contexts that support learning. You will also have a number of opportunities to see how learning sciences research unfolds at sites like schools, museums, neuroscience labs, and other locations where learning sciences research takes place.
