More information on the tours:
The Center for Information Workers – The Office Labs Envisioning Center
is a physical installation space located within Microsoft's Executive Briefing
Center. It represents a rich and compelling articulation of Microsoft's
long-term vision for productivity, where visitors will learn about and experience
the technologies that will help shape the future of business. By making
the vision real and compelling, the Envisioning Center seeks to catalyze
conversation and connect with customers, partners, press and internal audiences
at a level that is intellectually stimulating, emotionally engaging and
mutually beneficial.
The Microsoft Home of the Future – The Microsoft Home, located in the Redmond
Executive Briefing Center, is a key strategic asset of the company. The
Home highlights Microsoft's commitment to consumers and innovative technology.
An immersive environment, it illustrates and explores ways that technology
could make our daily lives better over the next 5-10 years. What we show
doesn’t represent Microsoft product plans. It’s simply a place to explore
possibilities – and to discuss topics like Microsoft innovation, how
consumer futures become reality, or future business models and opportunities.
