I received a BS in both Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in the spring of 2007 and began as a graduate student in the Center for Neuroscience program in the fall of 2007. After completing two research rotations, I officially joined the Fiez lab in the summer of 2008. My interest is in combining information from the fields of neuroscience and psychology and in better understanding human learning and memory using functional MRI. I am currently involved in a project focusing on numerical representation both before and after a period of arithmetical training that is designed to engage the basal ganglia.
