The WHIPPO Problem Space

The WHIPPO Problem Space is a collection of resources for teaching and learning about phylogenetics and bioinformatics. The materials are built around a series of molecular sequence datasets that can be used to look at the evolutionary relationships between whales and hippopotami – hence WHIPPO. It is part of the BEDROCK Bioinformatics Education Project.
