I received a B.S. in Cognitive Science in 2001 from Carnegie Mellon University, after which I worked at the Center for Cognitive Brain Imaging for 2.5 years researching problem solving, multi-tasking, and autism using fMRI. Currently, I am the Behavioral Lab Manager of the Reading and Language Group under Dr. Charles Perfetti, where I use ERP and behavioral methods to help research language and reading, specifically, how a person understands inferences and paraphrases.
