I received my B.A. in Chinese with a minor in linguistics from Grinnell College in 1998. I also received a Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Arizona in 2000. My work at Arizona had two main foci: Chinese semantics, and the interplay between familial handedness and cerebral organization for language--the latter as studied with fMRI. Since starting here, I have been using eye tracking to look at how lexical ambiguity resolution may be related to ambiguity resolution in the visual domain. |
