Ms. Halderman is a post-doctoral fellow in the Learning Research and Development Center. She completed her Master's degree and her PhD at the University of California, Riverside. She is currently working on studies that specify the time-course of pre-lexical orthographic and phonological processes in visual word recognition. Furthermore, she is assessing how these processes unfold differently across the cerebral hemispheres. She is using a variety of methodologies including behavioral, computerized studies, EEG and MEG to investigate these questions. She will be responsible for experimental design, data collection and data analysis.
