Conference Room Reservations

new LRDC's enhanced conference room calendars now make it easier for LRDC faculty, staff and students to find the most appropriate, available room for a scheduled event. A Combined calendar (available through a link on each calendar) combines reservations from all calendars into a single view. In addition, calendars for each room now include:

  • photos of the room
  • a comprehensive list of audiovisual equipment
  • seating capacity

Most rooms are equipped with a ceiling-mounted projector and a wall-mounted retractable screen. In order to accomodate virtually any presentation, LRDC's 2nd and 9th floor conference rooms feature state-of-the-art multimedia systems. To meet growing conferencing needs, room 565 is equipped for videoconferences; teleconferences can be held in any room. Additional details are available by selecting the Room Details tab.

Please review the Guidelines before completing the room reservation form below; it is important that you specify on the form whether you need access to the audiovisual equipment, teleconferencing, or videoconferencing.

    Guidelines

    Priorities

    • Rooms may be booked for meetings that involve predominantly LRDC faculty, staff, and students.
    • Highest priority for rooms goes to LRDC center wide meetings, as defined by the LRDC Director.
    • Rooms may be booked for graduate courses taught by LRDC faculty, subject to the priority expressed above. Classes may have to be relocated when a higher priority arises.

    Procedures

    • A formal request must be made through Fiscal Services to avoid scheduling conflicts.
    • Requests should be made by completing a form to request a conference room requiring audiovisual equipment or one where no equipment is needed.
    • Any use of AV equipment requires prior training by LRDC Computing Services staff; please contact Eric Fussenegger or Jeff Flotta for training at least 2-3 days prior to your event.
    • Teleconferences and videoconferences must be scheduled; please contact Eric Fussenegger.
    • Any damage to AV equipment will be charged to the person booking the room.
    • Rooms may be rearranged but must be returned to their original configuration immediately after use.
